Our Mission
Our mission is to use photography as a bridge between people and the wild, creating images that don't just document nature, but make people care enough to protect it. Every expedition we lead is built on real encounters, small groups, and the belief that the best conservation story starts with genuine connection to the animal in front of you.
The Team
Lior Berman | Founder & Lead Guide
Lior grew up in rural Guanacaste, Costa Rica, where the wild wasn't a destination, it was home. That upbringing shaped how he sees photography: not as a way to capture nature from a distance, but as a way to build a real relationship with it. A finalist in the Sony World Photography Awards and Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Lior approaches every image as an act of conservation advocacy, proof that the natural world is worth protecting. He founded PhotoLior to share that same access and philosophy with others: small groups, real encounters, and the patience it takes to earn an honest frame.
